THE TRIP TO THE HAUNTED HOUSE by Sophie H., age 7

Once upon a time a dog named Cinderella met her friends in the dog park.  They wanted to go trick-or-treating at the haunted house.  But first they had to go through the pumpkin patch in the woods.  Then they had to go in the labyrinth.  So they did.  Along the way Cinderella and her friends met a witch, a ghost, and a skeleton with tails.  They were not scared of them because they sniffed each other.  Cinderella, her friends and her new buddies made it to the haunted house.  Cinderella and her friends went inside.  It first was spooky because they saw some bats, spiders and more scary creatures.  When they came to the stairs they went up them.  At last they came to the top.  When they opened a door they found people giving out candy.  They got candy corn, caramel apples and boo bars.  They had the best time ever.
