MAX AND THE BURGLAR by Collin S., age 8

One day a dog named Max sat outside the store while his owner was in the store buying a pack of Doggie Yum Yums.  Then, he saw a burglar running down the street.  The burglar had grim smile on his face.  Max decided he would stop the burglar.  He tried running as fast as he could, and surprisingly, his collar came free.  The burglar ran through the city park. Max ran like mad after him!
Eventually Max caught up to him, pinned him down and barked real loud! His owner, who happened to be a police officer, came running out of the store….Doggy Yum Yums in his arm.  He found Max, called for backup, and took the criminal to jail.
Max felt very proud of himself.  As a reward, his owner gave him **2** Doggie Yum Yums!

  1. Great story! Max must be a whipet, if he could catch that thief. Whipets are very quick, so it would be easier to catch the criminal, and PIN HIM DOWN!-Amelia :)

  2. Awesome story! That dog is one smart fellow!-Audrey:)
